I can not express enough how incredible last Saturday was… Not only was a little boy’s 6th Birthday celebrated, but the life and fight of Bridget. A Hoe-Down celebration filled with bull rides, jail house, a Cow Bar, face painting, pony races, buckets full of candy, delicious food and most of all amazing friends and family! Bridget was diagnosed with Batten Disease in 2009 at the young age of 4. Though this family’s journey may be tough, its days like this when it makes it all a little easier. Bridget has a phenomenal support system around her and an awesome friend for sharing his Birthday with her! 🙂 You can learn more about Bridget’s story at, Hope 4 Bridget.
The day ended with a Balloon release filled with wishes and lanterns floating in the pond. May the photos take you to a place where you can hear the children’s laughter and memories being made! Yeeeeee-Haw!!
xoxo,
Shayla
