I had the honor to photograph the wedding of Joe & Tricia this past weekend. I absolutely love being around couples like them, they are so grateful for everyone in their lives and completely smitten for each other. From the bride and groom, to their parents, siblings and friends everyone was excited to spend the day celebrating their love for one another, and it couldn’t have been more obvious!

The ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Parish Church in Buffalo Grove… The stained glass that filled the windows is absolutely stunning! As the new Mr. & Mrs. exited the church to greet their guests they launched balloons into the sky with joyful wishes. As the guests headed their way to the reception. held at The Stonegate in Hoffman Estates the wedding party and I stopped along the way at the stunning Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club. As you see in the photographs that we captured, the country club did not disappoint with their beautiful landscaping and scenery.

And all of the small details to the big ones could not have been brought together perfectly without the help of Christina Currie Events. Christina sure has a way to put together a fantastic, elegant and stunning wedding…  I don’t think I could pick a “favorite” part of Joe & Tricia’s day… From seeing their daughter, Olivia getting her first haircut, to watching Tricia’s bridesmaids see her walk down the stairs ready to head to the church, Joe’s face when seeing Tricia walk down the isle, Tricia’s Dad’s uber sweet and funny toast, to Joe & Tricia grabbing Olivia to join them in their first dance. These details are the exact reason I love photographing weddings and couldn’t love my job more without fabulous and grateful clients like Joe & Tricia and their families.

To Joe, Tricia & Olivia.. may your lives always be filled with as much love and laughter that was around you on Saturday. Congratulations!!!
